How To Change Bot Difficulty in COD: Cold War

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues to be a great way to kill time (and annoying players) with friends, as the game has a lot of that Call of Duty polish we’ve come to expect from these games, despite a few lingering issues here and there, so it will be interesting to see how Activision follows this title up with Call of Duty 2021.

Multiplayer is the name of the game when it comes to Cold War, so a lot of players tend to practice against bots before they dive in, usually so they can get used to the game and try out different strategies or weapons, though that hasn’t stopped players from simply heading straight to the multiplayer and trying their luck, there have been some issues with the Cold War bots as of late due to a recent update.

How To Change Bot Difficulty in COD: Cold War

Normally, to change the Cold War bots settings, you simply go to the Custom Games and bots settings, then alter their difficulty.

However, it seems like the recent update has bugged this up as players have been unable to make these bots harder for their practice play, as this one annoyed Redditor shows.

It’s definitely an annoying thing to experience and we hope Activision does fix this up soon, especially since players practice with them so much.

This is pretty annoying but that’s what happens when you have to constantly update both Cold War and Warzone to make sure both games feel fresh.

We’re sure that Activision will address this bug, among other issues, in the next update so players will be able to kill bots in whatever difficulty they like.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
