Following weeks of rumours and speculation, Call of Duty fans got their first chance to see Modern Warfare 2 in action at the end of May. Since then, Infinity Ward has showcased a snippet of campaign footage alongside a wealth of information about a brand-new AI system.

With many looking forward to the release of Modern Warfare 2, the community continues to share its thoughts on the campaign and multiplayer while some look ahead to the beta.

Streamer Dr Disrespect is no stranger to sharing their opinion on all things gaming. The two-time says they are "unimpressed" with Modern Warfare 2 and claim their Project Moon title looks much better.

Dr Disrespect Says Project Moon Is Better Than Modern Warfare 2

The two-time is no stranger to Call of Duty having worked on the launch of Advanced Warfare. After stating Modern Warfare 2 has "potential," the Doc shares their concerns on Infinity Ward's upcoming release.

"Man, you talk about looking at an engine that is really on its last legs. I mean, that engine feels outdated, doesn't it?" questions the streamer. "I'd like to talk about the reveal man, unimpressive."

Having shared his concerns with a brand-new engine that will feature in all future Call of Duty titles, the Doc backs their Project Moon title developed by Midnight Society.

"I could take a screenshot from our game right now, in-engine, and I don't think anything from what I saw there could match it."

While the Doc doesn't hold high hopes for the Modern Warfare 2 engine, they hope Infinity Ward can "knock it out of the park" with smooth gameplay.

As the days tick down towards the beta, a little bit of hands-on experience with Modern Warfare 2 may change the Doc's mind.
