Xbox Series X: Fallout 4 Shows Just How Fast Microsoft's New Console Is

The Xbox Series X is less than a week away from being in the hands of gamers around the world.

In the build-up to launch, we've heard all about how fast the new hardware is and how amazing next-generation gaming will be.

But, how does that look? It's all good throwing numbers and stats at people, but do gamers really care?

Will the average gamer be able to understand all of that? I wager that's unlikely.

However, the best way to get a point across is to show it first-hand.

Fallout 4 Loading Times Reduced By Over 80% On Xbox Series X

One of my all-time favourite games is Fallout 4. I always knew how slow the loading times were on that game, but until I saw this video I never knew how bad it actually was.

Perhaps it was because I was playing on PC, but when you compare the Series X and the One it is incredible the difference.

In this video, the Xbox Series X takes less than 10 seconds to load into a game.

In contrast, the Xbox one X takes over 50 seconds!

If you've yet to play this game, it's not only a fantastic adventure but seems to have been made even better with the power of the Series X.
