The first season of post-launch content for Black Ops Cold is about to enter the final few weeks and with focus slowly turning to what content will be included in Season Two, the leaks are starting to emerge.
Like Season One, it is likely that the start of Season Two will contain a classic Black Ops map alongside a brand-new map.
While details surrounding Season Two launch content have yet to be revealed by Treyarch, a video showcasing footage of another map set to arrive during the season has been leaked.
Here’s everything we know about the Echelon map.

The video shows the layout of the map, including several rooms that look ideal for hectic close-quarters engagements with the opposition.
One area that looks particularly interesting is the girders that are suspended from a crane.
With no cover protecting players as they attempt to make it across to safety, securing control of this section of the map is likely to be a sure-fire way to score plenty of eliminations.
As for the layout, the map is in early development and is likely to change before it releases.
Echelon Map Release Date
According to the leak, the map will not be released at the beginning of Season Two, but as part of the Mid-Season update that will arrive halfway through the season.
With Season Two set to start at the end of February, players are likely to be able to play Echelon towards the end of March or early April.
It may seem like a while until the release of the map, but it’s certainly a positive to see brand-new content in the works alongside the classic maps that have proved extremely popular.
