Black Ops Cold War: How To Get The Wakizashi Sword

The mid-season update for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is now upon us!

The middle of a season will see both titles receiving a range of updates including the addition of a new Fireteam map, a number of bug fixes, and so much more.

Treyarch has posted the brand new roadmap for the massive update, and there is a new weapon coming to multiplayer. 

The Wakizashi Sword will become obtainable starting today, and if you were wondering how to unlock it, we have got you covered.

Here's how! 

Knife

The Wakizashi Blade was announced to be coming to Black Ops Cold War during the graphic that was posted today for the big update coming soon.

The Sword was previously found within the files, and starting today players will be able to unlock it.

Per the in-game multiplayer weapons menu the challenge to unlock the sword through the following challenge: 

• With the Combat Knife equipped, execute 2 Finishing Moves in 10 different matches

This is one of the trickier challenges to unlock a weapon.

As to complete a finishing move, players will need to get directly behind players and execute the finishing move.

This can be done by holding down the melee button!
