Battlefield 2042 Unknown Error - how to fix


If you've received an 'unknown error' notification in the top-right hand corner of your screen in Battlefield 2042, you're not alone. The Battlefield dev team are well aware of it, and apparently the issue isn't on your end.

Thankfully, there's already a fix in the works, and you don't need to do anything. EA's lead community manager Adam Freeman has notified players that it's an issue with scaling up the servers to cope with the huge number of folks playing the Battlefield 2042 open beta.

A recent update has told fans they have pushed out a 'significant fix' that should stop this issue for most.
