The Next Baldur's Gate 3 Update Is "Around The Corner"

After a few months of little communication from Larian Studios, we finally have some more information regarding the upcoming Baldur's Gate 3 update.

Creative Director at Larian Studios, Swen Vincke recently spoke with GameSpot in an interview where he gave fans an update on where the team is and why they have been silent for the past few months.

"Every time we're silent, that usually means we are busy with something, so we are busy with something".

Vincke says the new update is taking a little bit longer than expected but the next update is "around the corner".

We don't have a date for the new update as of yet, as the team doesn't want to lock themselves into a date they have to stick to.

The new update will focus on updating features more so than the addition of new content, based on feedback from the community currently playing the early access version of the game.

The previous patch, which was released earlier this year, added the druid class, however, we won't see any new classes added with this new update.

A lot of player feedback is related to the gameplay surrounding melee combat, and how it can translate from a tabletop situation to an in-game system.

The team is still working on creating new content for the game, such as act 2, although we can expect more news on that at a later date.
