Official DLC Description

According to Ubisoft, this is the official description of the Wrath of the Druids:

Explore the haunted wilds and beautiful landscapes of Ireland as you battle a druidic cult known as the Children of Danu. Conquer ring forts, master the art of smuggling, and gain the favor of Gaelic kings in a new open-world adventure.

Content

We're going to have to take on a new set of cultists. Unfortunately, there aren't any specifics on who these enemies are, but we'll probably know more further towards release.

Druids were religious leaders, so expect our paths to cross paths with them – potentially leaning into the more mystical elements of the base game.

We'll also be getting a new hub city, Dublin, that features new trading for the player to get involved with.

One datamine from longtime AC leaker xj0nathan appears to suggest that the expansion will add Muselpheim, a fiery realm of Norse mythology, but the account has since been suspended.

May 10, 2021 - Ubisoft introduced two of the many new Wrath of the Druids characters: The Children of Danu (aka "the Cursed") and the High King, Flann Sinna.

April 22, 2021 - Twitter user Aggiornamenti Lumia posted what appears to be three promotional screenshots from Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids.

The shots show a peaceful scene of druids interacting with Eivor, then an eerie scene where a group of helmed druids gather around a burning skeleton of a half-stag, half-human, and finally a scene of Eivor battling a werewolf while these stag-helmed druids stand by.

While they certainly look legitimate, it's still worth treating them as unverified leaks until Ubisoft officially reveals them.

Price

Ubisoft has not posted an official price for the DLC yet, but we do know you can get it as part of the game's season pass for $39.99 or £33.99.

Ostara Season

The Ostara Season is a free update that launched on 18th March 2021.

This update brings new cosmetics and aesthetics to specific areas of the map.

With special rewards, quests and activities players now have much more opportunity to earn the gear they want.

We're excited to see how Ubisoft expand upon this season with the next expansion!
