Previously, players used Discord to submit any tickets to the Windrose devs. However, they plan to gradually overlap the functions with the new platform to make the process easier for everyone.

The post also included a notice of an upcoming update. Though no date was given for when the update will roll out, they hope to launch it this week.

The update will address and provide:

  • Connectivity issues
  • CPU usage on idle clients and servers;
  • Disk usage during gameplay (to reduce the load on SSD specifically);
  • Performance and stability improvements;
  • Over 40 new building pieces to fill some gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Over 50 fixes and QoL changes

There are also plans to address Steam Cloud save problems and change the current save backup system to something more robust.

Windrose to Add New Biome

Currently, there are three playable biomes in Windrose: Coastal Jungle, Foothills, and Cursed Swamps. However, the team at Kraken Express has announced they are working on their next biome: Ashlands.
