Following the supposed leak that another Direct was scheduled just days after July’s Nintendo Direct, it looks like Nintendo has one more trick up its sleeve with a special Nintendo Indie World presentation set for tomorrow, Thursday, August 7.

Scheduled for 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET, the Nintendo Indie World showcase will run for roughly 15 minutes and feature new announcements and updates on anything related to indie games. Naturally, the hype train is once again in full force for fans hoping that Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally make its official appearance during the event.

Are we expecting Hollow Knight: Silksong again?

Of course, there’s no confirmation whether Silksong will show up. There are plenty of other indie titles that could make headlines, including the potential full release of Hades II by Supergiant Games. After spending almost a year and a half in Early Access on Steam, there’s a good chance it could finally hit version 1.0. Fans are also anticipating news about the long-awaited Katana Zero DLC, which has been in development for nearly six years.

Maybe Hades 2?

We might also see more retro-style RPGs and cozy farming sims, which continue to be a major draw for Nintendo Switch users. With the Switch 2’s improved hardware, games built on Unreal Engine 5 (especially cozier, less graphically intense ones) could run smoothly on the platform. After all, it has already handled visually demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red.

For now, all we can do is wait. What do you think will steal the spotlight at tomorrow’s Nintendo Indie World showcase?
