- Key Update: The full list of consumable perks available at launch in Black Ops Royale, Warzone's new Blackout-inspired mode.
- Status: Confirmed

- Quick Answer: Perks will be available as consumable loot in Warzone's Black Ops Royale, with each one having a limited duration.
Black Ops Royale brings back consumable perks to Warzone, a feature we saw in Blackout. With the absence of custom loadouts, the only way to obtain perks in a match is by finding them amongst the loot and consuming them.
The mode has its own perk collection, different from the ones in the standard modes. To prevent you from wondering what a perk does in the middle of a game, we have all the information about them.
All Black Ops Royale Perks
Black Ops Royale will have 12 consumable perks when it goes live in Warzone. This list could eventually change, as future updates could add or replace perks to make the meta more dynamic.

Here are all the perks available in Black Ops Royale, along with the official description and their category based on duration:
Perk | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Awareness | Increases the volume of enemy footsteps by a modest amount. You also gain the ability to track enemy footprints. | Short |
Brawler | Gain a small amount of additional health when engaged in melee attacks. Provides bonus to your health if you are fully healed. Strong increase in melee damage. Adds the Tactical Sprint ability. | Long |
Engineer | Allows you to see enemy equipment, killstreaks, and vehicles through walls. When you’re a driver or a passenger in a vehicle, it will repair itself over time. | Medium |
Iron Lungs | Increases the time you can hold your breath while underwater or using certain Optic Scopes. Reduces weapon flinch and idle sway. | Long |
Looter | Supply boxes within a reasonably proximity are outlined. A modest increase in the chance to find higher-value loot (more special items). | Short |
Medic | Downed allies return to the fray with impressive bonus health. You can insert Armor Plates more rapidly. You can revive yourself and others more quickly. | Long |
Mobility | No fall damage. You swap weapons more rapidly and reload more quickly. | Long |
Outlander | Reduces the damage you take if caught in a Circle Collapse and increases the movement speed if inside a Circle Collapse, both by a modest amount. | Medium |
Paranoia | You can sense when an enemy is looking at you. | Long |
Reinforced | Explosive and fire-based damage is reduced by a sizable amount and cannot down you if you’re struck while at full health. You gain resistance to Flashbangs and Stuns, and suffer reduced damage from the Hand Cannon, War Machine, and Death Machine. | Long |
As you can see, the mode brings back all the perks that were available in the original Blackout, except for Dead Silence and Consumer. Both of these perks could be integrated in the future, or we could see the developers not bringing them back to avoid disruptions in the meta.
In terms of the perk's duration, here is how much time each category means:
- Short: Around two minutes.
- Medium: Between two, two and a half, or three and a half minutes.
- Long: Around four minutes.
How to Get and Use Perks in Black Ops Royale?
Given that Black Ops Royale doesn't have custom loadouts, the only way to get perks in this mode is by finding them in the loot. The perks will appear as green briefcases on the ground loot.
Players can either pick them up and use them instantly or store them in their inventory. Perks have a duration, meaning the effects will only be active for a limited time.
