Trevor Phillips’ Actor Is Clearly Fed Up Being Asked About GTA 6

Over the past decade, Steven Ogg has been best known for playing Trevor Philips, GTA V’s unpredictable outlaw.

But 2025 has shown a very different side of Ogg’s relationship with the franchise.

At a recent fan event, when asked the inevitable question about GTA 6, he bluntly responded that he “feels nothing” for it, explaining that he isn’t a gamer and never even played GTA 5 himself.

His unhesitant answer was interpreted as him being tired of the nonstop curiosity around GTA 6.

Many were surprised that the man behind one of gaming’s most iconic characters could be so detached from the series, while others defended him, pointing out that acting is simply a job and not every performer becomes a fan of the medium in which they work.

Fans still connect Ogg with Trevor, but he doesn’t feel the same way about Rockstar’s games.

What Has Ogg Said About Trevor Philips?

Importantly, Ogg has clarified in earlier interviews that he doesn’t dislike Trevor or resent GTA 5. In fact, he’s called Trevor an “awesome” character.

He has even joked about how he’d imagine a Trevor cameo in GTA 6, ending with the character being killed off immediately, just to shock players.

His humor makes it clear he’s at ease with Trevor’s legacy, despite not playing the titles himself.

His reaction isn’t rooted in hating Trevor, but in the constant repetition of a question he has little connection to as someone outside the gaming scene.

Will Trevor Appear in GTA 6?

As for whether Ogg will actually appear in GTA 6, he has already said he hasn’t recorded anything for Rockstar’s upcoming title.

However, he admits that if he had, he wouldn’t be able to say it anyway because of NDAs. That leaves his involvement firmly in the realm of speculation.
