Take-Two Interactive has assured investors that quality won’t be an issue for future Grand Theft Auto games. Following the disastrous launch of GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, the publisher sought to ease fears during a third-quarter earnings call, stating it's “exceedingly confident” about future GTA releases.
Covered by VGC, CEO Strauss Zelnick acknowledged that GTA: The Trilogy launched with numerous issues. Stating the game has since been patched with more updates to come, Zelnick promised that future GTA games would be focused on quality, calling this "an isolated case."
