The cover art features Pokemon that isn't part of the base game. These include Manaphy, Popplio, and Snubbull. It's likely the evolved forms of the Pokemon will also be included, though it's not yet confirmed.

What caught most people's attention is the fact that the Pokemon on the cover, which includes Peakychu, is wearing an outfit. Snubbull is wearing a bowtie, while Peakychu is wearing wings and an adorable hat.
