Our Review of the PXN P5: What Makes it So Good?
The P5 boasts Hall Effect joysticks and triggers that, during our testing, really did deliver drift-free movement and precise inputs. Meanwhile, its 256-level adaptive triggers offer exceptional control, particularly in racing titles like Forza Horizon 5, while the two-step hair trigger adjustment provides lightning-fast response times for shooters.
Comfort-wise, we found the lightweight build makes long sessions easy on the hands, even if the D-pad and grips aren’t quite premium-tier. Still, the controller’s four programmable macro buttons and intuitive rear switches more than make up for these minor drawbacks, adding a layer of functionality rarely seen in its price range.
Performance during testing was excellent, with the controller being responsive, stable, and reliable across multiple platforms. Features like Turbo Mode, six-axis motion controls, and full customization via the PXN NEXUS app further elevate the experience.
