  • Quick Answer: To get Gyarados in Pokemon Pokopia, find him in the Sparkling Skylands, feed him a bread bowl (found or cooked), and build an Illuminated Waterfall Habitat.

Unlocking Gyarados in Pokemon Pokopia introduces you to a great ability, but it isn't easy to get.

In Pokemon Pokopia, you play as a Ditto who aims to rebuild the world and discover why the humans have disappeared. As you venture out on your journey, you meet Pokemon who help you learn new abilities. One of these Pokemon is Gyarados.

Here's how to get Gyarados and how to unlock the Waterfall ability.

How to Get Gyarados in Pokemon Pokopia

In Pokemon Pokopia, you'll meet Gyarados in Sparkling Skylands. You can easily find him by gliding above the islands and looking for waterfalls. Once you spot the waterfalls, fly down to the pool of water. There, you'll see Gyarados swimming.

Talk to Gyarados, and he'll be added to your Pokedex. Talk to them again, and they'll give you a request: they're hungry and want a bread bowl.

According to Gyarados, they can smell a bread bowl somewhere on the island, so don't be afraid to look around the surrounding area for it. If you can't find it, you can cook a bread bowl using a Pokemon with the Burn specialty. Once you find the bread bowls, give them to Gyarados.

If you want Gyarados to live on your island, you'll have to make the Illuminated Waterfall Habitat. This requires 3 Stepping Stones, 2 Torches, 3 Waters, and 1 Waterfall.

How to Learn Waterfall in Pokemon Pokopia

After feeding Gyarados the bread bowl, the Pokemon will remember a move it wants to teach you. That move is Waterfall.
