Quick Answer: Defeat all 5 Lóng Pillar trials during Bloodline Awakening for the Bastion of Mó Mask, then take the Sanguine and 5,000 Remnant Dust to Myst in Pangzhen to Soul Temper it into Infernal Rouge.

The Infernal Rouge is one of the best one-handed weapons in Phantom Blade Zero, but it's a big of a challenge to get.

In-game, the weapon is described as "a legendary weapon of the Bastion of Mó, concealing secrets tied to Soul’s origins." It features the powerful Bloodline Rebirth art, which triggers when Soul takes fatal damage and allows him to fully restore HP and increase his attack.

Wondering how to get it? Here's how.

How to Get Infernal Rouge in Phantom Blade Zero

You'll need three things to get the Infernal Rogue weapon in Phantom Blade Zero: the Sanguine, the Bastion of Mop Mask, and 5,000 Remnant Dust.

A lone, armored figure in a traditional conical hat sits against a stone, surrounded by a serene landscape with autumn foliage and blue flowers.

You don't need to do anything special to get the Sanguine. This is Soul's default one-handed blade, and we get it early in the game. You don't need to worry about losing it, as it's your permanent starting weapon and is part of Soul's primary inventory.

The Bastion of Mo Mask, on the other hand, is attained by completing the trials at the Five Long Pillars during the Bloodline Awakening quest. The first four trials are fights against The Gold-Masked One, while the fifth trial is a fight against Mo Yuan, Leader of the Bastion of Mo.

A character stands in a burning landscape, facing another figure in a dark setting, with text overlay that includes "Mo Yuan, Leader of the Bastion of Mo" and a dialogue quote.

After beating Mo Yuan, you'll be able to collect the Bastion of Mo Mask. Once you have it, find Myst in Pangzhen (at the Order's underground tavern).

Speak with them and select "Soul Temper." Select your Sanguine, then switch to Soul Tempering. The upgrade line will read "Soul Tempers into Infernal Rouge, the heirloom weapon of the Bastion of Mo." To confirm, pay with 5,000 Remnant Dust and the Bastion of Mo Mask.

Once the cost has been paid, your Sanguine will turn into Infernal Rouge.
