Pocketpair Confirms Dating Sim Development
Ahead of April Fool's Day, Palworld took to its social media to announce that its dating sim spin-off is, in fact, real and remains under active development.

Palworld: More Than Just Pals is set in the Private Palpagod Academy, located at the foot of the World Tree. You play as a transfer student who can befriend, romance, or dismantle (yes, you read that right) your Pal schoolmates.

The game features both romance and horror - the trailer hints it might be similar to Doki Doki Literature Club. Some characters appear to have a Yandere troupe, such as getting insanely jealous if you speak to other Pals and causing harm to them. Other characters are more wholesome, with cute conversations where your choices matter.

Palworld: More than Just Pals also features a time loop, where the player gets shot by a Black Marketeer with a revolver. While what we know of the gameplay is limited right now, it appears to be more nuanced than just a regular otome game.
