Shion has been announced as the next Overwatch hero, arriving in the upcoming season. Her first trailer gives us a look at her design, which will adapt that characteristic Cyberpunk aesthetic.

When Does Shion Come Out in Overwatch?
Shion is scheduled to arrive in Overwatch on Tuesday, June 16, when Reign of Talon Season starts. An update will go live at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST) to add all the new content for the season.

The reveal trailer for Shion, which you can see below, is a short with an anime-style animation, where we see Sojourn trying to bust a shipment from the Hashimoto clan until she is interrupted by the new character.
Shion's Role and Nationality
Although it hasn't been confirmed, we suspect Shion's nationality is from Japan, as that is where she operates. Thanks to leaked information from SkaVorah, we already know Shion will be a Damage hero, becoming the 34th character in the role.
Shion Abilities
The same leaks previously indicated that Shion would be a Cassidy-like character, with a very similar weapon and kit. Her abilities haven't been revealed at the time of writing, so we will have to wait to know more.
