Season 4 of Overwatch: Reign of Talon is approaching, and it will add a brand-new playable character: D.Mon. She is the 53rd hero and the second Meka member to be available in the game after D.Va.

While we wait for her trailer and official reveal, here is everything we know about the upcoming character.

When Does D.Mon Come Out in Overwatch?

D.Mon is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, August 11, the same day as Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 4. The respective update, which adds the hero and all the seasonal content, will be released at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST).

First we have the hero trailer, an animated 2D short where we see the MEKA squad capture Wrecking Ball while Vendetta secures an EMP that was protecting the city of Busan against any attacks.

D.Mon's Nationality and Role

Just like her squadmate D.Va, D.Mon is from South Korea and is a member of the MEKA squad, piloting the Beast. She is part of the Tank role, becoming the 15th playable character in the group.

    • Plasma Saber: Fast energy melee weapon.
    • Portable Fusion Repeater: Heavy machine gun.
  • Abilities
    • Power Barrier: Hold a frontal energy barrier.
    • Propulsors: Consume fuel to surge in any horizontal direction.
    • Fusion Repeater: Activate a rapid-fire machine gun.
    • Surging Strike: While Power Barrier is deployed, strike forward to damage and push enemies back.

    • Limit Break: Unleash a sweeping slash that grants self overhealth and amplifies damage taken by enemies.
