Nightmare Geese is coming to South Town this February 26, becoming the second DLC character of Season 2 in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
While the original Geese died during the events of Real Bout Fatal Fury, he has had a few non-canon appearances in other games. Since City of the Wolves follows the original Fatal Fury timeline, SNK found a way to bring him back without disrupting the lore of the franchise.
Geese has a lot of his fan-favorite moves, including much of what Rock Howard was taught during his childhood, such as the grounded projectiles (Reppuken). He'll also boast his signature counters, which can help put a stop to players constantly mashing buttons on your face.
In terms of story, while sadly there won't be an Arcade path for him, players will be able to enjoy a brand-new Episode of South Town story focused on his return after his untimely demise in Real Bout Fatal Fury, which will see him interact with some old enemies and people who rose to prominence in the years following his death.
City of the Wolves Season 2 kicked off just last month with the inclusion of Kim Jae Hoon. Following Geese's release on February 26, the game will receive the addition of the highly requested Blue Mary in March and Wolfgang Krauser in April, with two guest characters rounding off the season in May and June, respectively.
On top of that, the crossover between SNK and Capcom continues to evolve, as new outfits inspired by Luke and Juri are hitting City of the Wolves, among other things (most notably new mechanics inspired by Street Fighter).
