Rockstar surprised us with the announcement of the pre-order start date and the cover art for GTA 6. Given that the community hasn't heard or seen anything new on the game in weeks, this made everyone excited as it means the start of the game's marketing campaign.

On top of that, the game's official website was updated to include a flyover video of Vice City, really showcasing how this part of the map will look in-game.

The video shows the whole Vice City skyline, the port, and even one additional island with more buildings. There is a lot to unpack, but the first thing that we can take away from the clip is how alive the city looks.

There are a lot of moving parts, from the flying vehicles, like the planes and helicopters, to the boats, the Ferris wheel moving, cars going through the different roads, and even the light show on one of the skyscrapers' walls.

It will be interesting to see how far the render distance will be for the game's console version, given that all these moving parts rely on the RAM capacity. We can already see that this game will finally try to find the limitations on the current generation of consoles, something that has rarely been an objective for developers, given that the previous generation (PS4 and Xbox) was still very prominent.

We still don't know for sure whether the game will allow players to access buildings seamlessly, but seeing that many interior lights turned on in the clip makes us believe that it could be a possibility.

GTA 6 is scheduled to come out on Thursday, November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version for the game hasn't been announced, but it's expected to come out sometime in the future.
