Neverness to Everness (NTE) has been dubbed the anime version of GTA, and it's not hard to see why.

Just like GTA, NTE features a wanted system. It's up to you if you want to be an upstanding, law-abiding citizen. However, going to jail gives you access to one of Zero's outfits - the Unconventional Attire. Besides the unique cosmetics, it's always just a little more fun to play dangerously.

Here's everything you need to know about the wanted system in NTE.

How to Get Arrested in Neverness to Everness (NTE)

In NTE, the wanted system is called the Warrant Value. It functions similarly to GTA's wanted system. Illegal actions in the city, such as destroying public property, attacking NPCs, or stealing vehicles, will cause your Warrant Value to go up.

Once a certain threshold has been reached, you will be considered a Wanted Criminal. You will be pursued by law enforcement, and further illegal activities will cause the police to search for you even more.

When Wanted, certain actions will be unavailable to you, such as fast travelling or shopping.

If you've reached the maximum Warrant Value, you'll be forced to fight the Justice Executioner. At Level 99, the boss is impossible to defeat during the early game due to just how strong it is. However, if your team is leveled up and has S-Class Arcs, it's not totally impossible.

If you're caught by law enforcers or lose your fight with Justice Execution, you'll be imprisoned and placed in the Hetheareau Detention Facility.

How to Lower Your Warrant Value in Neverness to Everness (NTE)

There are several ways to lower your warrant value. Simply waiting for it to go down works well if your value is low. Another way is to escape the cops and make sure not to get in trouble with the authorities. Keeping a low profile will cause your warrant value to decrease, and the cops will stop tailing you.

How to Escape Prison in Neverness to Everness (NTE)

There are five methods to escape prison in NTE. These are:

  • Another World...
  • Extreme Sports.
  • Be Like Water.
  • Cheat Death.
  • Into the Chaos.

Alternatively, you can simply pay your fine, and you'll get out. Take note that fast travelling out of prison will automatically cause you to pay your 30,000 Fonds fine.

The Another World... method has you digging a hole through your wall to escape prison. This will take a long time. You'll need to get spoons from the cafeteria, and they tend to break while digging the hole, meaning you'll need to stay in jail for multiple lunch times to get spoons.

You'll dig a hole behind a poster next to your bed. Once the hole is big enough, you will end up in the sewers. Avoid the lights and stick to the wall to get out of prison. If you're caught, your stay will be extended by three days.

Extreme Sports requires major prep work - you'll need to steal two Bed Sheets and two Grimy Detention Uniforms to make a rope that will rappel you down the watchtower. You'll need the Watchtower Key for this method. If you have all these items, you need to tell the guard you want to work and offer to clean.

The guard will give you a job to clean the roof, which will trigger a cutscene taking you to the watchtower. Approach the ledge on the outer side of the wall to escape.

For Be Like Water, you need to pretend to be sick and get taken to the infirmary. Once there, interact with the Feigning Prisoner to distract the doctor, then steal the Concentrated Disinfectant from the medical refrigerator.

Head to the yard. The basketball court will have a sewer gate. Douse the disinfectant on the sewer gate, then wait one day. The next day, the metal of the sewer gate would have corroded, allowing you to enter and escape through the sewers.

After, feign sickness and head to the infirmary. There, you can interact with the hospital tray, which will allow you to ingest the Restinol. Ingesting it will make staff think you're dead. A cutscene will play where you pass out and wake up on a boat. Dive into the ocean where the guards aren't looking to make your escape.

Lastly, we have Into the Chaos. Into the Chaos requires you to steal spooons, then head to the yard to fight Tomato and his gang. The troublemakers are harassing another inmate, Hermit Crab. You'll get thrown into your cell for causing trouble, which is exactly what we want.

After the fight, Hermit Crab will visit your cell. Talk with them, then end yard time. When you're free to explore, visit Hermit Crab's cell and give them the spoon. He will use it to cause a blackout at the prison, which gives you the perfect opportunity to sneak out.
