Two of the biggest grinds of the year land four weeks apart. Modern Warfare 4 releases on October 23, 2026, and GTA 6 follows on November 19. In Call of Duty the big jobs are camos and rank, which is where MW4 boosting comes in. In GTA 6 it's the story and the trophy list, and that's what GTA 6 boosting covers at launch.
This guide covers both: every Modern Warfare 4 mastery camo, what's known about MW4 Ranked, and GTA 6 boosting at launch.
What boosting means
Boosting means a skilled player finishes a grind for you. For MW4 boosting that covers camos, weapon leveling, ranked, nukes and bot lobbies. Piloted means the booster plays on your account, the fastest route. Self-play means you play yourself, with the booster in your lobby, so nobody needs your login. GTA 6 has nothing to play together in at launch, so GTA 6 services are piloted only.
MW4 camo boost: the biggest grind of the launch
The camo grind is the longest job in every Call of Duty, and Modern Warfare 4 spreads it across Multiplayer, Warzone and DMZ. An MW4 camo boost is a service where a verified player completes the camo challenges on the weapons you choose until they reach the mastery camo you're after. Players also search for it as camo boosting, camo unlock or a mastery camo grind. Shops like Upblazed sell it per gun, per weapon class or for the full arsenal.
Every Modern Warfare 4 mastery camo
Activision showed the Modern Warfare 4 mastery camos at Call of Duty NEXT on August 21, 2026, and the official Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer overview covers how camos fit into progression. Each mode has three, with a separate Prestige set on top.
Mode | Mastery camos |
|---|---|
Multiplayer | Mercurial Drift, Polyatomic Reforged, Orion Reforged |
Warzone | Parallax, Damascus Reforged, Empyros |
DMZ | Chiral, Ripple Tide, Helio |
Prestige | Pyroclast, Pyroclast Verge, Pyroclast Scatter, Pyroclast Cascade |
Most coverage reads Orion Reforged, Empyros and Helio as the top camo in each mode, since the showcase ends on them. At the time of writing, Activision hasn't published the unlock challenges, so treat any exact kill or headshot count you see before launch as a guess.
How the MW4 camo grind works
Camos are challenge-based. You unlock them by completing challenges with each gun, not by raising its level. A weapon can finish its camo challenges before it hits max level, which is why camo boosts and weapon leveling are separate services.
Every mode has its own mastery camos. Expect the Warzone camos to come from Warzone and the DMZ camos from DMZ. Battle Royale and Resurgence games are longer and less predictable than a Multiplayer match, so the same challenge can take much longer per gun. DMZ, back in MW4 and set in Hajin, runs at its own pace, so it's the track most likely to stay empty if you don't play the mode.
Only earnable camos count. Store-bundle camos can only be bought in the game, so no camo boost can get those for you.
MW4 camo boost or grind it yourself?
Grind it yourself if you enjoy the challenges, mostly play one mode and only want the mastery camo on a handful of guns. Private bot lobbies are a good middle ground, and a camo tracker helps you keep count across three modes.
A camo boost makes sense if you want to unlock all camos on a whole class or the full arsenal, the challenges force a playstyle you don't enjoy, or you want the camos from a mode you barely touch. Plenty of Multiplayer players want Helio or Empyros on their favourite gun without learning a new mode to get it.
MW4 ranked boost
Ranked Play is the other big Modern Warfare 4 grind. A ranked boost raises your Skill Rating (SR) to a target rank, either piloted or as a duo where you queue with the booster and never share your login.
At the time of writing, Activision hasn't dated MW4 Ranked Play, and recent Call of Duty games added their competitive mode weeks after launch. An early ranked boost is a reservation that starts when the mode opens. MW4's rank names aren't public either. In Black Ops 7 the divisions run from Bronze up to Iridescent at 10,000 SR, with the Top 250 leaderboard above it.
GTA 6 boosting
GTA 6 boosting starts from what Rockstar has confirmed. Rockstar's Newswire set the release for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It launches as a single-player game, and no online mode or PC version has been announced.
The story follows Jason and Lucia across Leonida and Vice City in a chapter-based structure, closer to Red Dead Redemption 2 than GTA 5. Previews put the main story at around 80 hours, a preview estimate rather than a Rockstar figure.
What GTA 6 boosting covers at launch
• Story completion. A booster plays the story through to the credits on your save, or carries you past the one mission you're stuck on.
• Trophies and achievements. From a few tricky trophies up to the full platinum on PS5 or the complete achievement list on Xbox.
• Character stats. Only if GTA 6 has trainable stats the way GTA 5 did, like stamina, shooting and driving. Rockstar hasn't shown how stats work yet.
What about GTA 6 Online?
Money, rank, heist and business boosts are what everyone remembers from GTA Online, and some shops already take reservations for them. They can only go live if Rockstar ships an online mode. There's no name, date or detail yet, so any GTA 6 Online date you read is speculation.
Is boosting safe?
Honest answer: Activision's rules count boosting as a violation, and any penalty applies to the account no matter who played, so no shop can promise your account is safe. For GTA 6, no shop can rule out a penalty either. What you can check is how the work is done: hand-played by verified players with no cheats, tools, bots or mod menus, a clear login method such as PlayStation QR sign-in on PS5, and a money-back guarantee if the order isn't delivered as described.
FAQ
How many mastery camos are in Modern Warfare 4?
Nine across Multiplayer, Warzone and DMZ, three per mode, plus four Pyroclast camos in a separate Prestige set.
Is GTA 6 multiplayer?
Not at launch. Rockstar has confirmed a single-player release on November 19, 2026. An online mode is widely expected, but no name, date or details have been announced.
The short version
In MW4 the camo grind across three modes is the big job, a camo boost takes it off your hands, and a ranked boost covers SR once Ranked Play opens. In GTA 6 the launch is about the story and the platinum, with online waiting on Rockstar. Grind what you enjoy, boost what you don't.
