During the 11 November State of Play Japan, fans received news of a brand-new closed beta for Marvel Tokon, set to kick off this December. While no new characters were revealed, this new testing period will include two previously announced playable characters: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider, as well as new stages.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Closed Beta 2 Start Dates
The Marvel Tokon December closed beta will run from December 5 to December 7. Unlike the previous beta, there won't be any planned downtime, meaning it'll be a full 72 hours of continuous play.

- 8:00 AM GMT
- 9:00 AM CET
End date (November 7)

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Closed Beta 2 - How To Register
Registering is very easy, as you simply need to log in to your PlayStation account and browse the Marvel Tokon PSN store.
If you've already registered for Closed Beta 1 (whether you received access or not), you don't need to take any action, as you're already automatically registered for this beta.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Closed Beta 2 - Characters
The Tokon closed beta 2 will have every hero from the previous beta, plus two more: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider. The entire roster is as follows:
- Spider-Man
- Ghost Rider
- Iron Man
- Storm
- Dr. Doom
- Ms. Marvel
- Star-Lord
- Captain America
On top of Spidey and Ghost Rider, two new stages will be playable: Savage Land and X-Mansion, which features some cameos from Colossus, Nightcrawler, Psylocke, and more.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Closed Beta 2 - Modes
Unfortunately, the Marvel Tokon closed beta 2 won't have training mode again, however, it has added CPU offline matches for you to take an idea of what each character can do. This is the full list of modes:
- Online lobbies
- Online matches
- CPU matches offline
Offline CPU matches will only be available on December 5 and 6. On December 7, only online matches will be working.
