Here's everything we know about Ranked Mode in Marathon!

Overview of Marathon's Ranked Mode

To play in ranked, players need to select a zone and assemble a loadout that meets the gear ante (specific gear requirements). After that, you'll need to purchase a Holotag to set the score target with. These are mandatory passes for Runners to play Ranked.

The name of the game is high-value loot. Your score in Ranked is determined by the credit value of the items you are about to exfil out of the zone. Take note, however, that not everything adds to your score. Consumables, ammo, and things you brought into the zone do not count.

You'll rank up if you're able to meet the crew's target score. However, failing to exfil in Ranked means you will lose Ranked Progression equal to your crew's combined loss penalty.

When Does the Marathon Ranked Mode Release?

Marathon Ranked will be released in four days (as of this writing). This means that, depending on your time zone, it will launch on Saturday, March 21, or Sunday, March 22.
