The first wave of the LEGO Pokemon figure sets has officially been revealed, including release dates, piece counts, and, of course, what everybody's been waiting for, the price.

Pokemon and LEGO fans alike have been waiting for this official announcement since March last year, where only Pikachu's tail LEGO-fied was teased, and now that the first set of Pokemon has officially been revealed for 2026, how do we feel about it? Moreover, how do our wallets feel about it?

Pokemon LEGO Sets Cost & Pokemon

The confirmed Pokemon, so far, that have been officially confirmed to get a LEGO set are Pikachu, Eevee, the Kanto starters' final evolutions, and some bonus sets as well (keep reading to learn more).

As for the price, be prepared because they don't come cheap, ranging from $59.99 / £54.99 to $649.99 / £579.99. Worth it? Let's find out!

As Pokemon's mascot, it isn't surprising that everybody's favorite electric, yellow rodent will get a LEGO set, as teased back in March 2025. This set will feature 2,050 pieces, consisting of a Pikachu with minimal articulation, a detachable Poke Ball that can be opened and closed with the number 25 (Pikachu's Pokedex number) marked into it, electricity streaks, and a base that seems to come in the shape of Pikachu's tail.

As for the price, this electrifying set will cost $199.99 / £179.99, and although the price can be quite shocking, it is unsurprising, knowing LEGO sets have been quite expensive for some time now, and the Pokemon branding isn't usually known for cheap pricing.

LEGO Eevee

Eevee may not be Pokemon's mascot, but its association with Pikachu is undeniable. Eevee and Pikachu have been paired since Pokemon Yellow all the way to the Let's Go games. Not only that, Eevee has always been a fan favorite, thanks to its adorable exterior and versatile evolution lines. This set will contain 587 pieces with only Eevee as a buildable piece (no base or additional pieces). It is worth noting that this set, even with its smaller size, will have articulation in its ears, tail, limbs, and head.

This set, so far, is the cheapest that you can buy from the first wave, as this will come at a $59.99 / £54.99 price tag. Still isn't dirt cheap but for Eevee fans, it might just be worth it. We're still hoping that its evolutions also get their own sets moving forward.

LEGO Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard

Another set of Pokemon that are bound to be a Pokemon fan's favorite are the final evolutions of the Kanto Starters, and this set will include all three! This feature, having three Pokemon, is also the biggest as it will be 50 centimeters high and 54 centimeters wide. This set will come with 6838 pieces, where Charizard can be built with a lava pillar base, Blastoise with a water spouting base, and Venusaur with a floral land base.

Another thing that this base boasts is the ability to showcase the set as one whole set or individually, as they can be separated from each other, so if you want to place each of them somewhere else or as a triad of power, that is entirely up to you.

Ah, of course, the price. Having this much content, versatility, and number of pieces, this set is expected to be the most expensive set from the first wave. This set will come at a $649.99 / £579.99 price tag, and that is obviously not cheap. It's even more expensive than a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2! Maybe that's why there's a high emphasis on the theme of "adult" in the official reveal because these sets will require serious, adult money.
