- Quick Answer: Xbox users discovered they could play LEGO Batman early through pre-loads and Walmart digital codes, while Forza Horizon 6 files leaked on Steam due to a lack of encryption.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was accidentally made playable by Xbox, just a week before its scheduled launch.
It follows the leak of Forza Horizon 6 after devs uploaded unencrypted files to Steam for the game's pre-load, allowing users to access and extract the game two weeks before its launch.
Now, on the same day, it's been revealed that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has experienced something similar.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Accidentally Becomes Playable Before Launch
A user on Reddit revealed that they pre-ordered the game and were able to download it right away. After the game finished downloading, they received a notification that the game was ready to play.

To their surprise, they were able to launch the game and start playing without any issues. To prove it happened, they shared several photos of themselves loading and starting the game on their post.
Not long after, it was revealed that Xbox players could start playing the game if they bought the Walmart digital code. According to a different Reddit user, they ordered the digital version through the Walmart app and received a code immediately, which allowed them to launch and play the game early.

It appears that Xbox accidentally uploaded a fully playable version during the pre-download and mistakenly allowed players to jump in early. There were allegedly no restrictions in place - it ran at 60fps, and players had full control of the characters. The same user who got the code from Walmart stated they were able to play all night.
Xbox soon released a patch update for the game, which will supposedly stop people from accessing it early. There's currently no word on whether players on other platforms were also able to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
