After spending well over a year in early access, Hades 2 is finally ready to launch into its full release.
The game leaves early access on September 25, 2025, almost a year and a half after players first entered the Crossroads in May 2024.
The sequel received ten major updates that refined combat, added characters, and expanded its roguelike systems.
The full game launches worldwide at the same time, with release hours coordinated across regions: 9 a.m. PDT in San Francisco, 12 p.m. EDT in New York, 5 p.m. in London, and the early hours of September 26 in Tokyo and Sydney.
Will Hades 2 Be on Game Pass at Launch?
Many players are curious if Hades II will arrive on Game Pass, but the studio has made it clear that it won’t happen at release.
Games has not announced any plans for Game Pass inclusion, and official blogs only highlight PC and Nintendo platforms for the time being.
This doesn’t rule out Game Pass in the future, since the first Hades eventually arrived there and is still available now.
That precedent gives hope that the sequel might join the library once the exclusivity window lifts, but there’s no concrete timeline.
Given Nintendo’s timed console deal, it may not be until sometime in 2026 or later that Xbox owners see it.
