It looks like fans of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail can anticipate a new game from HoYoverse.

HoYoverse is known for creating some of our favorite anime-style gacha games. However, it appears the video game giant is finally stepping out of their comfort zone, with the company already confirmed to be working on the life sim Petit Planet and the RPG Varsapura.

But it seems HoYoverse has something else up its sleeve: a possible new MOBA game. Here's everything we know.

New HoYoverse Job Listings Hint at Upcoming MOBA Games

Earlier this month, HoYoverse (known as Mihoyo in China) shared several job listings on its site. The job listings specifically mentioned hiring for an upcoming 3D MOBA game in pre-production. The role is open for people in China, specifically for their Shanghai office.

The company is looking for a Game Server Engineer, UX Design Lead, Game Test Engineer, Unreal Client Engineer (Gameplay), and Unreal Client Engineer (Systems).

The MOBA game, which has yet to be given a title, will be made on Unreal Engine 5. This is a unique approach, as other popular HoYoverse titles such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero were made on Unity.

As of this writing, no additional info has been released regarding the MOBA.

What Other Games is HoYoverse Working On?

As mentioned, HoYoverse is working on a life simulation called Petit Planet and an open-world RPG called Varsapura.

Petit Planet is HoYoverse's first real cozy game. Here, you play as a character working for Loomi Co and are tasked to develop a new planet and explore the galaxy. In Varsapura, you play as Hollowone. As a member of the Supernatural Enforcement and Administration League, you will explore the supernatural world and battle enemies.

HoYoverse is also working on Honkai: Nexus Anima, their fifth installment in the Honkai series. Nexus Anima is a creature-collector adventure strategy game that features characters from Honkai Impact 3rd and Star Rail.
