The Fated Shadow is one of the best one-handed weapons in Crimson Desert - and the crazy part is that some people will never know about it.

You'll need to beat a boss to get it, but the game won't point out how to get it after that. No NPC hint, no reward screen, no weapon automatically being added to your inventory. It's really an "if you know, you know" weapon.

It might seem like a hassle to get, but with its stats, it's so worth it.

How to Get Fated Shadow in Crimson Desert

You can only get your hands on Fated Shadow after defeating Goyen in the "Unwavering Steps" Main Quest in Chapter 9.

After the fight, you will be in the Nest of Valor, an Abyss area in the Dry Valley. This is located on the northeastern side of the Crimson Desert. If you left the area, open the map and click R3 (or the equivalent control) to switch to the Abyss layer. The fast travel point will be next to the Dry Valley.

Once you're in the Nest of Valor, go to the central podium and turn right. You'll come across a small cave with a staircase and a light source next to it. Enter the cave.

When you enter, you'll come across a recipe for Fishball Soup. Don't let that deter you - head deeper into the depths of the cave. Near a bucket and other objects in the group, an icon will appear that reveals the Fated Shadow. It blends into the surroundings, so you might have a hard time finding it.
