How to Get Stardust in Pokemon Pokopia

Unlike other materials, you cannot get Stardust in the four main towns nor in Palette Town. Instead, you can find Stardust in Dream Islands.

Lucky for you, they aren't limited to certain Dream Islands. Every Dream Island has a large amount of Stardust scattered around the island for you to pick up. Do take note that you can only visit Dream Island in a day, so make sure to go through every inch of the area to get them all!

How to Make Star Pieces in Pokemon Pokopia

Once you pick up Stardust, you'll get the recipe for a Star Piece. The recipe only requires one material, but it needs A LOT of it: 99 Stardust, to be exact.

If you manage to pick up all the Stardust on a Dream Island, you only have to visit two to get the item. Of course, if you want to make more than one, then you'll need to go as often as you can. Don't be afraid to time-travel to visit more than one island a day!

What To Do With Star Pieces in Pokemon Pokopia

You won't be able to use Star Pieces during Pokopia gameplay, but it does have specific uses!

One way to use them is to use Link Play and visit a friend's island. If they have a Pokemon you want, you can give the Pokemon a Star Piece and invite them back to your island. They'll give you a gift after you give them the Star Pieces, and that will allow them to spawn at your island.

You can also give the Star Piece to a Pokemon with the Rarify Specialty. Once they get the Star Piece, they will be able to convert it to rare items, such as Rare Pokemetals.
