Luckily for you, you won't need to fight any bosses or NPCs for Rokade. What you do need is at least Level 6 Stamina.

Rokade is one of the hardest horses to tame, which means you'll need to have a high stamina level. If you're Level 6 or higher, run up to the horse. A prompt will appear to ride the horse - select it, and you'll mount the horse.

The hard part is taming Rokade. A bar will appear on your screen that needs to fill up to register Rokade as your mount. The horse will try to fight you off, and you'll need to move in the opposite direction of Rokade relative to your camera position.

If your stamina is too low, you will get knocked off and have to redo the process. But if you succeed, you can keep Rokade as one of your permanent mounts.
