Marathon Synopsis
Marathon is set on the planet Tau Ceti IV in 2893, where a new colony settled after the landing of the UESC Marathon ship. An unknown event has caused most of the human colonists to vanish from the planet, leaving the survivors to form violent factions to gather the remaining resources while they last.
These groups consist of Runner Shells, modified cyberhumans who will fight, loot, and recover supplies from rival factions and unidentified aliens as part of their mercenary jobs. These loadouts can then be used by the Runners in future missions, making every exploration mission equally important.
Marathon Characters
Each Marathon character, or Runner Shell, will come with skill sets to mix and match in squads to balance your team. Each Runner Shell has a Prime Ability, a Tactical Ability, and two Traits, which can be modified and enhanced using Implants and Cores during your looting.
Currently, there are six Runner Shells in Marathon, with the expectation for more to be added in future updates:

Marathon Map
Marathon is set in the lost colony of Tau Ceti IV in the year 2893. The map includes trails of the UESC Marathon ship, which will lead players to explore the Cryo Archive during the game’s Season 1. More maps are expected to be added to the game in post-release updates.
