The announcement was made during the Producer LIVE broadcast on April 17. The trailer, introduced by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, showcased a plethora of additions and updates set to arrive through the patch.

Final Fantasy XIV to Launch Patch 7.5
Patch 7.5, titled "Trail to the Heavens," is set to launch on April 28. A trailer for the patch has been released, which can be viewed below. An archive of the broadcast (Japanese audio only) can be found on Twitch TV.
The patch features plenty of new additions, such as new main scenario quests, the final instalment of the Echoes of Vana'diel alliance raid series, the next update to Occult Crescent, a new dungeon, a new Ultimate difficulty raid, a look at the new limited job - Beastmaster, and much more.
