Borderlands 4 just announced its first Vault Hunter DLC: C4SH (Cash). If you want to know more about him, you've come to the right place.
While the latest Gearbox looter shooter is facing some serious technical issues that have led to a notorious Randy Pitchford social media crash out and to an indefinite delay of the Switch 2 version, the core gameplay is among the series' best. Gearbox has a ton of post-launch content, including new Vault Hunters, C4SH being the first to come.

When Is C4SH Releasing In Borderlands 4?
C4SH will be launching as the first Borderlands 4 DLC Vault Hunter in Q1 2026.
That means you can expect him to drop between January and March, with no further information revealed about his release date.
How To Get C4SH In Borderlands 4?
There are three ways you can get C4SH in Borderlands 4 when he releases. These are:
- Own (or upgrade to) the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition
- Own the Vault Hunter Pack (included in Super Deluxe Edition)
- Own Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned (included in Vault Hunter Pack)
As you can see, the only way to get C4SH is by forking out, well, some cash. The cheapest of these three options is to purchase the standalone Story Pack 1. This DLC will include C4SH, story missions, zones, gear, cosmetics, and much more.
C4SH Abilities In Borderlands 4
We don't have an official, detailed look at C4SH's abilities yet. However, dataminers and content creators have shared some information about his general playstyle.
C4SH will be a "luck-based" Vault Hunter, able to draw both buffs and nerfs that will affect his playstyle from a deck of cards. Once I know more information about how he actually functions, I'll be updating this section accordingly.
