Weeks of top quality Counter Strike action have all come down to this. Epsilon eSports would take on Prophecy for the chance to become champions of the Elite Series. Let's take a look back at an epic match.
Kicking off the Grand Finals on Mirage, Epsilon showed some of their pistol prowess thanks to Smooya scoring three frags to take the first pistol round. Epsilon continued to secure round after round and soon found themselves with a convincing 6-0 advantage over Prophecy.
The momentum was fully in favour of Epsilon. The double AWP setup was paying off for the CT side as they moved ever closer to the 16-0 score line. Maeve managed to hold the defuse whilst hiding in the smoke to give Epsilon an eighth round. Prophecy had no answer to the Epsilon onslaught as they quickly took a 15-0 lead at the end of the half.

Prophecy had it all to do in the second half but Epsilon carried on their ruthless fragging ability, securing the second pistol and the game 16-0.
Moving onto Train for the second map and Epsilon still maintained the momentum from the previous map, taking another pistol round to grab the early lead. Some clinical holds of the bombsites allowed Epsilon to move to a 5-0 lead. Was another 16-0 whitewash on the cards?
After 21 unanswered rounds, Prophecy managed to get their first round on the board. Proph began to build their economy with some important rounds to begin reducing the gap. Prophecy looked like a different team, taking a slender 8-7 lead at halftime. For the first time, Epsilon were on the back foot.
Prophecy continued to pull away, winning their first pistol round of the series to move to a two-round lead. A bold pistol force buy from Epsilon soon put a stop to their resurgence and soon enough, they were back in the lead. From here on out, Epsilon comfortably pulled away to take Train 16-11 to move to within one map of taking home the title.

Overpass would be the third map and Prophecy had it all to do if they were to pull off the reverse sweep. Once again, Epsilon opened the game with another successful pistol round thanks to BarBarr with two quick kills in connector. Epsilon quickly moved to a 3-0 lead before an impressive hold of the A bombsite by Kolor gave Prophecy a way back into the game. Proph immediately responded with three rounds of their own to level the game but Epsilon soon began to establish a lead.
Some back and forth rounds between the two teams eventually led to Prophecy having an 8-7 advantage at the end of the half. Epsilon secured yet another pistol round to level the game at 8-8. Just like the previous two games, Epsilon quickly asserted their dominance again, securing Overpass 16-9 and a 3-0 series sweep.
Congratulations to Epsilon eSports on becoming Elite Series champions for Counter Strike and taking home the Franchise championship!
