Dispatch Episode 7 presents players with a massive choice: should they cut or keep Invisigal after the stunt she pulled in episode 6?

I'm assuming you're up to date with the story of Dispatch, but in case you're not: BIG SPOILERS ahead. With that out of the way, episode 6 ends with a massive cliffhanger after Invisigal goes rogue and tries to retrieve the Astral Pulse on her own, running into a trap set by Shroud.

Chase uses his speedster powers (which age him just as fast as he's running) to save Invisigal; however, he's in critical condition as a result.

Z-Team is unhappy with Visi and asks Robert Robertson to cut her for good, citing that he's removed members of the team for far less, referencing the decision to cut Sonar or Coupe from episode 3.

This is a choice-based game, so the decision to cut or keep Invisigal is entirely up to you. Of course, the next scene plays out differently depending on what you choose.

Cut Her

If you decide to cut her, Z-Team's morale will not go down and Robert will give a speech about how Invisigal's opportunities have run out, stating that neither he nor being around the Z-Team made her a better person.

Defender Her

Robert will explain the importance of second chances and how Invisigal was trying to make a good deed happen. He explains that cutting her from the Phoenix Program goes against what the entire project stands for.

This decision will lower the team's morale as they'll likely feel Robbie's decision to be a bit hypocritical.

Both choices will lead to a conversation with Invisigal where she'll reveal a massive story beat.

The decision to cut or defend Invisigal will have massive implications in the finale and the ending you're getting (including how the reveal scene plays out), but since we're diving deep into more spoiler territory that you perhaps may not want to know yet, I'll issue yet another SPOILER warning.

Still reading? Okay. If you decide to cut her, Invisigal won't be available during the final chaotic dispatching shift on episode 8, however, she'll still help Z-Team during the fight against Shroud. It heavily impacts the ending of the game, with Visi able to turn her life around and become a hero or fully surrender herself to villainy, but it isn't the only key factor as you can still cut her and get the "good" ending.

If you defend her, Visi will help the team during the final shift, however, the rest of the squad will have low morale and decreased stats as a result. The final ending will be heavily influenced towards being the "good" one but it won't be directly guaranteed.
