Halo Infinite has enjoyed a great deal of support from all aspects of its player base since the game launched late last year. From grabbing all the best guns in multiplayer to finding all the campaign collectables, we've been getting stuck into every aspect of the game.

One issue that's been plaguing it somewhat, though, is the number of cheaters finding their way through the cracks. It's always hard to completely rid a free-to-play game of cheaters and hackers, but thanks to an update post by Ske7ch, 343 Industries' community director for Halo, we can hope for changes to come in the future. On the issue of cheating, he had this to say:

It appears that more pressing changes need to be made first, though. The issues with Big Team Battle are taking priority at the moment.

So, it sounds like we'll be getting a solution to the long-running Big Team Battle issue imminently, along with some fixes to the cheating situation later on.

Thankfully, it looks like we'll be seeing BTB return to its former glory, as the fix "went into QA last week" and the team is "not seeing the issue internally using this (new) build".

All's well that ends well, then - we'll keep you updated with any anti-cheat updates!
