Arc System Works revealed the final team for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Named the Samurai Outriders, it includes Ghost Rider, Loki, Blade, and Deadpool.
Announced at Evo 2026, the devs took the main stage and showered fans with a ton of information, including the reveal of the final three characters. Out of all the newly shown fighters, it’s Deadpool that undeniably stole the show. True to his nature, he’s full of fourth-wall-breaking references, mainly focused on other fighting games, with nods to Guilty Gear, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom, and more.
If you haven’t seen the trailer, take a look at it below:
Beyond that, Blade and Loki look extremely fun as well. Blade wields the powerful Muramasa, a sword so powerful it can pierce through gods. He uses a variety of melee attacks, projectiles, using machine guns and glaives. As for Loki, true to his nature, he will use tricky tools like feints and counters to mix up opponents, as well as ice projectiles, a reference to his real heritage as the son of Laufey.
Beyond that, fans also got massive news: a final Open Beta that will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PC. The beta will go live and be available from July 24-26. Blade will be playable, so it’s a nice incentive to check it out even if you’ve played previous ones.

With that, all 20 characters have been revealed. Honestly? It may be small, but it’s a pretty interesting roster with many staple Marvel characters and some oddballs thrown into the mix to spice things up.
As a reminder, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be available this upcoming August 6 on PlayStation 5, and PC. Sorry, Xbox fans.
