- Quick Answer: Extract in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ by calling transport at Tac-Map exfil points, using Fulton Extraction Balloons, or launching an Exfil Flare in Hajin.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ has officially gone live, letting players try the new mode before the game's official launch.
DMZ mode is an extraction shooter set in a new map called Hajin. Players who pre-ordered any edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 got early access to DMZ mode (and you can still get it by pre-ordering before the game launches on October 23!).
As an extraction shooter, the main part of the mode is - obviously - extracting. Confused about what to do? Here's how to extract in Modern Warfare 4.
How to Extract in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ
There are multiple ways to extract in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, but the easiest is by locating an exfil point on the map and calling for transport.

To do this method, open your Tac-Map and look for the exit door icon. Hajin spawns multiple standard exfil zones across the map. Approach the extraction zone and approach the smoke flare. A prompt should appear to Call Extraction Transport. Be careful when doing this - calling for transport triggers an audio cue for nearby players and AI forces.
Once called, a countdown timer will start for the transport (usually a helicopter). When the transport lands, board as quickly as possible to avoid damage from incoming threats. A short extraction timer will start, after which the chopper will lift off and trigger the Successful Exfil screen. All your items will be in your FOB Stash.
Another way is by using a Fulton Extraction Balloon. You can acquire a Fulton Drop Marker/Kit as round loot in high-threat POIs and craft them at your FOB's 3D Printer. Alternatively, you can receive them as reward items.

Once you have the Kit, equip the item, find an open outdoor area free of direct overhead obstacles, and deploy it. You will be able to attach high-value items. Once tethered, the balloon will inflate, shoot into the sky, and secure your items to your FOB Stash.
You can also use an Exfil Flare to extract your items. To do so, you need to equip the Exfil Flare and find an open area where a helicopter can land or hover for an extraction. Once you fire the flare, a dedicated transport helicopter will fly to your coordinates. Take note that this method will send a bright flare into the sky, possibly alerting enemies to your location.
