Modern Warfare Season 3 is here, and that means new rewards for playing both the main game and its excellent free-to-play Battle Royale standalone mode.
One such reward is the "Fatal Freeze" weapon blueprint, an assault rifle that players can get their hands on – sort of. Here's why it's not as simple as you'd think.

How to get the Fatal Freeze weapon blueprint in Modern Warfare and Warzone
The Fatal Freeze weapon is tied not only to the Season 3 Battle Pass, but also to the PlayStation 4 – for the time being, the gun is a timed-exclusive, which isn't great news for Xbox One and PC players.

If you're wondering, the assault rifle has a Commando Foregrip, PBX Holo 7 Sight, and a Singaurd Arms Sniper Pro Stock.
It's definitely not the first piece of PS4-exclusive content the game has received since launch. The Warzone Combat Pack was offered as a free download to PlayStation Plus members, and there's an entire Spec-Ops mode that remains rooted on PlayStation.
