Black Ops 7 just came out, but Treyarch is already starting to hype up the release of the second Zombies map, Astra Malorum. The second Zombies map will see the crew heading into a different part of the Dark Aether, following the events of Ashes of the Damned.
While we wait for more details and gameplay about the map, we have a few predictions for the map's release date.
When Does Astra Malorum Come Out in Black Ops 7?
The Astra Malorum map is scheduled to go live when Season 1 of Black Ops 7 begins in December. A specific start date for Season 1 hasn't been revealed at the time of writing, but we expect the season to kick off on December 4th or December 11th at the latest.
Regardless of the date, the map will go live at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM GMT), which is the usual release time for the game's updates.

After the events of the Ashes of the Damned easter egg, the crew finds themselves escaping from a horde of Ravagers, some of them raiding what looks like 115 meteorites, and they end up crashing into a skull-shaped asteroid. Curiously enough, the skull looks like the one the Warden had in his cages.
The crash site is the location of the new map, which has an observatory just like it was teased before the game launched. We can also see other buildings like a town hall and a closed dome, but it's difficult to imagine the size or other zones since the only shot we get is from the spawn area.
