Black Ops 7 Warzone Fallout collab teaser

Although the holiday events are still live, Activision has revealed that a Fallout collaboration is coming to Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This will be the title's first collaboration with another IP, but the second time the franchise crosses over with the show.

The first collaboration event happened in Modern Warfare III and took place shortly after the show's first season premiered in 2024. Now that the first teaser for this second crossover is out, we have a clue about the content we can expect for this occasion.

When Does the Black Ops 7 x Fallout Collaboration Come Out?

A specific release date for the Black Ops 7 x Fallout collaboration hasn't been revealed. However, a post on the game's social media accounts revealed that the content will arrive sometime during the Season 1 Reloaded update, meaning the second half of Season 1.

Season 1 Reloaded should start on Thursday, January 8th, for all platforms. An update will arrive at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM GMT) to add all the new content. We will have to wait to find out whether the Fallout crossover will go live that day or later.

Teaser

In case you haven't seen it, here is the first teaser for the upcoming collaboration posted on Call of Duty's social media accounts:

New Operators

As showcased on the teaser, the collaboration will add the following operators to the game: Lucy McLean, The Ghoul (Cooper Howard), and Maximus with the Power Armor on. It's unclear if the Power Armor operator will be a skin for an existing one or a separate.

The unlocking method for each operator is unknown, but we expect at least one of them will be available only through a shop bundle. We could also see one of them available through completing a series of challenges or completing an event pass.

Nuketown Variant?

During episode 9 of the COD Pod podcast, the developers teased that Season 1 Reloaded will include "a mysterious map variant." Given that the teaser for the Fallout collaboration shows the iconic Nuketown sign, we believe Nuketown will receive a new variation themed around the show.

This will make sense as Nuketown takes place in the Mojave Desert, the same place as New Vegas in the Fallout universe. Besides, New Vegas is featured prominently in the second season of the live-action show.

Once we have more information about this upcoming crossover, we will update this article to keep you in the loop.
