Cursed Mode is one of the new features coming to Zombies in Black Ops 7, and it will allow players to enjoy the mode without the many new mechanics that have been introduced in recent titles, like the Exfil or the new points system.

How To Unlock Cursed Mode in Black Ops 7 Zombies?
Treyarch revealed that Cursed Mode will be unlocked after any player in the world completes the easter egg or main quest in the map Ashes of the Damned. In other words, once someone finishes the main quest, the developers will enable the mode for everyone, not just those who completed the quest, similar to what happens with raid races in Destiny 2.
Ashes of the Damned is the game's launch map, which is made out of different POIs, some of them directly inspired by the POIs of the map Tranzit from Black Ops 2.
We assume this unlock method will be the same for every post-launch map, meaning in order to enjoy the mode in future maps, someone will need to complete their respective easter egg.
What is Cursed Mode?
Although no gameplay of Cursed Mode has been revealed at the time of writing, Treyarch describes it as a "new experience that features legacy mechanics."
At the start of a match, players will load in with only a pistol, there won't be a minimap on the HUD, and the points system will be exactly as it was in older titles before Black Ops 4.
The mode will have special hidden items called Relics, and after finding them, each one will apply a new restriction to the mode in future matches, making this an even harder experience. Relics will bring the mode closer to its roots, as some have familiar restrictions like a limit of four perks or the removal of ammo caches. Treyarch also promised to add more Relics to each map with the post-launch updates.
