We are in November, the launch month for Black Ops 7, and many are hoping this year's game will have an early access period. The only time we have seen an early access launch before in the franchise was with Modern Warfare 2 (2022), where players could start playing the campaign at least one week before the complete release.
Will we have another early access this year? We have a definitive answer to solve your questions and help you plan for launch accordingly.
Does Black Ops 7 Have Early Access?
Black Ops 7 will not have an early access period or anything similar. A few weeks ago, leaker TheGhostOfHope started a rumor on X (formerly Twitter) that the game's release date could be moved up.
After that, other accounts started thinking about the possibility of an early release to draw attention away from Battlefield 6. These speculations were fueled when the Black Ops 7 files were added to the PlayStation Store database, and both the Campaign and Zombies modes have November 10 as their release date.
This information was shared by the news account PlayStationSize on X, and it also explained that the release date listed for those two modes could change. The multiplayer mode is listed to come out on November 14th, the game's official release date.
However, all these rumors came to an end when news account CharlieIntel on X received confirmation through an Activision spokesperson that the game won't have any early access periods and there won't be any changes to the release date.
