Battlefield 6 is maintaining a fine start to life following its launch, with players continuing to enjoy everything it has to offer, including all of the Season 1 content.
Speaking of which, Phase Two of Season 1, California Resistance, is imminent, bringing with it new weapons, maps, modes, vehicles, and features on November 18.
As Phase Two rapidly approaches, here’s when we expect it to go live in Battlefield 6, and a reminder of what exactly you can expect from California Resistance.
What Time Does California Resistance Release in BF6?
Based on the release schedule for Phase One, Battlefield 6’s California Resistance update could be deployed across all platforms on Tuesday, November 18, at around 09:00 UTC. Players were previously prompted to download and install the update in advance, which included technical and gameplay changes.

Then, California Resistance content may eventually go live at 15:00 UTC later in the day. This would see all of the new in-game content officially become available.
Again, these times are purely based on the release schedule of Season 1’s first phase, Rogue Ops, and have not yet been confirmed by EA or Battlefield Studios.
What’s Included in California Resistance Update?
California Resistance introduces a new map located in SoCal called Eastwood alongside a Sabotage mode designed for 8v8 Combat, in which both sides take turns attempting to secure or defend high-value cargo.
Phase Two also adds the DB-12 dual-tube pump shotgun, the M327 Trait eight-shot revolver, and the Slim Handstop underbarrel attachment for improved weapon handling. As for new vehicles, the Turfpro PVT Royale golf cart makes its way into the game. Yes, you read that correctly! A four-seater golf cart will be built and readily available for rapid drop-ins and fast escapes through lawns and cul-de-sacs.

Additionally, newly introduced Battle Pickups can be located and acquired in specific areas of a map. These will offer a special, more powerful firearm and differ from the weapons normally selected by a player, depending on their loadout. Because they are often scarce and provide a tactical advantage, Battle Pickups tend to become hotspots for PvP encounters as players compete to acquire them first.
Meanwhile, on the REDSEC side of things, California Resistance adds Rodeo to the Gauntlet rotation. Focused on armored dominance, Rodeo squads score points by holding tanks scattered across the map, with the lowest-placed teams dropping out after each stage.
