Rebellion's action survival game, Atomfall, is officially getting a TV adaptation.

Atomfall was released last year to mostly positive reviews. With its unique British setting, emphasis on exploration, and tense combat, players were able to choose their own path after ending up in a barren zone of England. The story was so good that it's now getting adapted into a TV drama.

Here's everything we know so far.

British video game Atomfall will be getting a TV adaptation. The show will be produced by Rebellion in collaboration with Two Brother Pictures. The latter previously produced The Assassin and Fleabag.

Golden Globe-winning writer-producers and Two Brothers founder, Harry and Jack Williams, will write for the upcoming TV drama. Alex Mercer is signing on as executive producer for Two Brothers and Ben Smith for Rebellion. Mercer previously worked as a producer for Doctor Who, while Smith worked on Rogue Trooper.

Released in 2025 by Rebellion, Atomfall is set in an alternate history in which England's Lake District is walled and militarized due to a nuclear incident. While life outside of the Quarantine Zone has gone back to normal, life inside the zone is far from it. In the game, your character is someone who wakes up in the Quarantine Zone with no recollection of how they arrived. Will you choose to live your life in the zone or escape?
