Combat has been upgraded for more immersive gameplay, with a newfound emphasis on parries and takedowns. Stealth and parkour have also been improved for smoother assassinations and takedowns.

The Jackdaw has also been upgraded, allowing you to take down powerful enemy ships with enhanced naval mechanics featuring alternate fire modes. Quality-of-life changes were also added to ensure a positive user experience.
The open world was built with the latest Anvil Engine and enhanced by features such as Dolby Atmos and ray tracing. This means the world is even more stunning, with better texture and detail that makes Assassin's Creed Black Flag more immersive.
