ARC Raiders has just released their latest map, Stella Montis, as part of their ambitious November content plan.

The North Line Update brought new weapons, Arcs, and fresh reasons to keep grinding the extraction shooter.

Days have passed since Stella Montis dropped, and many players have come to a brutal realization: Stella Montis is PvP hell.

A remnant of the past.

Whether you are going solo, duo, or trio, this new map is intended for players who crave blood.

Stella Montis is uncharted territory, a derelict base now teeming with hostile Arcs and loot-hungry Raiders. This isn’t for the average Raider who just wants to experience its PvE and loot around without a care in the world. The rules of engagement in this place are always 'shoot on sight.'

ARC Raiders has been out for almost a month, and the discourse surrounding its mix of PvE and PvP is still around. Some players advocate for a standalone PvE and PvP mode, but many have grown accustomed to how unforgiving its world is, begging Embark not to add any mode that splits the playerbase apart.

Stella Montis seems to be the answer players want when it comes to a PvP-centric area. Its tight corners and tricky, labyrinthine hallways can confuse newbies. Forget your "Don't shoot!" emote. One encounter with a random Raider and you can be sure that there’s a gunshot to your face.

Hostile players aren’t the other threat in Stella Montis. Arcs like Shredder will bring in a whole new meaning of pain to the average player. This fresh clanker is also out for blood. When it turns red, you’d best pray you’re under cover from its 1,000 Needles-like attack, otherwise it’s goodbye to your hard-earned loot.

Stella Montis is strictly endgame territory. Apart from the Shredder and the aggressive Raiders, it also contains some of the game’s best items. Resources like electrical and Exodus-type loot can be found here. These are essential to craft some of the game’s best weapons, like the Equalizer and Jupiter. You might even find rare Blueprints like the new weapon, Aphelion, but it seems like nobody has come across one yet.

Players who expect a safe space in Stella Montis will definitely not find one. This map is a playground for the bloodthirstiest players of them all. If you think you can make it out alive with your Level 4 Anvils or Arpeggio, you’d best be ready for a firefight.

Despite its beautiful interiors, Stella Montis is now a shell of its former self. It has been completely abandoned, left to rust while it is consumed by the elements. It was only after the community event that we worked hard to open its doors, and what do we get? A never-ending bloodbath.

What was once a hallmark of human ingenuity is now the most dangerous map for ARC Raiders.
